Tight timelines, development logistics, and clients underestimating time requirements can make getting the content into your new build a deadline blowing proposition. Third party sites try to help by allowing parallel content entry, but their content model is different from Drupal's, leading to other issues. What we really need is a content entry system that has the same feature-set as Drupal, so let's use Drupal!
Creating a content entry system using a vanilla Drupal instance has a number of advantages. The content types are created in the form they'll take on the site build, giving the clients an exact model of the way their system works. Although unthemed, the client has a better idea of what their content will look like. The client also gains experience using Drupal well before they take over the site.
This talk will give an overview of how Agentic creates the content entry system, the techniques we use for transferring content, and our experience using it.
